Boys and Girls Club

I am one of those few lucky people in this world that actually enjoys going to work everyday. I will admit that there are days where I get frustrated, but what job doesn't?

I love my kids more than anything in this world and would do anything for each and everyone of them. I love how they love you unconditionally, how they say things that always make you laugh even when your day is going bad, but most of all I love how they think the world is this wonderful place.

There are many things I love about the Boys and Girls Club, but I will just share a few. First, is the fact that it is affordable for any parent. You can't beat 15 dollars a week for childcare. Second, I love how it is diverse. I know sometimes that has a negative connotation, but here it is not. Each child is treated equally and all of the kids play together no matter the income or race. Lastly, I love the principle of the Boys and Girls Club. Our mission is to "enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." I am proud to be a part of this movement, and it is because of our motto I work at the Boys and Girls Club. Each child deserves a chance to strive to reach their full potential.

If you have a child and you are not sending him/her to the Boys and Girls Club yet, maybe you should think about it. It's a great place for children, I promise!
